Our Mission.
Conservation Technology Accelerator is a non-profit providing technology solutions to help conservationists and restorationists accelerate their impact.
Using the same technologies widely utilized in the private sector, we deliver critical solutions to conservation organizations protecting the earth.
Our initial focus is to provide animal population and land surveys. In the long term, we aim to catalyze the adoption of current technologies across the field so that conservationists have the right tools to protect our planet.
How it started.
CTA grew from two years working in conservation to identify needs that fit our skillset: engineering and technology.
We found a field stuck with hacked-together consumer tech that caused more headaches than it solved.
CTA seeks to put the right tech, widely used in industry, into the hands of conservationists around the world to amplify their impact.
